ABOUT CLS
Experience applied in the real world
CLS is a small consulting company with a simple principle: the customer should know who is doing the work.
Today, I run the business personally. This means that the person you discuss the assignment with is also the person who analyses the situation, proposes the solution and helps implement it.
When an assignment requires additional specialist expertise, external resources can be brought in – but only when needed and with the customer's agreement.
BACKGROUND
Experience comes from industry
My professional background has been strongly shaped by the automotive industry, including a year in the United States and many years working in international environments.
Extensive international travel and assignments have meant working with companies, customers and suppliers across different countries and business cultures.
Two perspectives on management systems
My experience also includes auditing many different organisations. I am approved as a certification auditor, which gives me the opportunity to view management systems from an auditor's perspective as well. Certification audits and consulting assignments are, of course, kept strictly separate.
Auditing companies is a remarkably effective way to learn.
You get to see different production methods, different management systems and very different ways of solving the same basic problems. You see things that work very well – and things that work less well.
That experience is now an important part of the CLS toolbox.

APPROACH
Experience-based consulting
Standards and quality methods are important. But they do not always provide the answer to how a problem should be solved in a real organisation.
That is why CLS consulting is based on a combination of knowledge of requirements, an engineering mindset and practical experience.
That does not mean yesterday's solution automatically fits the next customer. Quite the opposite. First, we need to understand the business and the situation. Experience can then help us identify options faster, avoid dead ends and find a solution that fits that particular organisation.
THE CLS WAY
Småland common sense – with a German touch.
That actually describes the way of working quite well.
Analyse first. Communicate clearly. Agree on what needs to be done. Implement it properly. Then follow up to make sure it actually worked.
No more complicated than necessary.
