When you contact CLS
When you contact CLS by email or phone, we may process information such as your name, contact details, position, company affiliation and information you provide about your enquiry. The information is used to respond to enquiries, discuss potential assignments and administer and perform customer and business relationships.
Lawful basis
Depending on the situation, personal data is processed in order to take steps before entering into or performing a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or on the basis of legitimate interests where processing is necessary for CLS's legitimate interest in communicating with customers, suppliers and other business contacts.
How long is the information retained?
Personal data is not retained longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Information relating to contracts, accounting or other legal obligations may need to be retained for longer under applicable law. Contact details in an ongoing business relationship may be retained for as long as the relationship remains relevant.
Recipients and service providers
Personal data may be processed by service providers used by CLS for services such as email, IT, web hosting, accounting or other administration where this is necessary for the service concerned. CLS does not sell personal data. Where a provider processes personal data on behalf of CLS, the processing is to be handled in accordance with applicable data protection rules.
Website, server logs and visitor statistics
When you visit the website, technical information may be recorded in the web server's log files, such as IP address, time and the page requested. CLS uses Webalizer for aggregated visitor statistics based on server logs. The purpose is to obtain an overall picture of website usage and to monitor the website's technical operation. The current website does not use Google Analytics or a comparable external tracking service.
Cookies
The current website does not use cookies for analytics, marketing or user tracking. Technical functions provided by the web host may, however, involve server-based logging as described above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to information about and access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure or restriction of processing, and to object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). You are welcome to contact CLS first if you have questions about how your personal data is handled.
